🛡️
Completion-gated guarantee

Complete the plan. Still fail? Full refund.

We put our money where our method is. If your student completes every day of the practice plan and still doesn't pass the retake, we refund the full $39 with no friction, no arguments, and no cancellations to worry about — there's no subscription.

Three requirements for a refund

All three must be met. Missing even one disqualifies the claim — and that's intentional.

1

Purchase the full plan

The guarantee applies only to paid plans. The free diagnosis is always free — the $39 unlock is what activates the guarantee.

2

Complete every single day

Every day of the practice plan must be marked complete in the daily tracker — we log each completion with a UTC timestamp. "Complete" means you worked through the problems for that day, not that you got them all right. Skipped or missed days disqualify the claim.

3

Take the retake and not pass

Submit a refund claim within 30 days of your retake date. We'll ask for the approximate outcome (score or grade) — we don't need documentation, we take your word for it. This is not a grade-guarantee or a school-outcome promise; it's our acknowledgment that sometimes the plan wasn't enough.

What this guarantee covers — and what it doesn't

We want to be completely clear so there are no surprises.

Covered ✓
  • Full $39 refund — no partial refunds, no store credit
  • All plan lengths (7-day, 14-day, custom)
  • Plans where every day was marked complete in the tracker
  • Claims submitted within 30 days of the retake date
Not covered ✗
  • Plans with one or more skipped days in the tracker
  • Claims submitted more than 30 days after the retake
  • Outcomes on a different test than the one entered at diagnosis
  • Requests for grade guarantees or academic performance promises

How to claim your refund

Four steps. Takes two minutes.

1

Finish your plan

Mark every day complete in the plan tracker. The green progress bar will reach 100% and you'll see a "Plan complete" message.

2

Take the retake

Take the Algebra 1 retake on the date you entered. Your best outcome is passing — the refund is a safety net, not the plan.

3

Submit your claim

Return to your plan page. If all days are verified complete, a "Claim refund" button will appear. Submit in under a minute.

4

Receive your refund

We process refunds within 5 business days. The $39 goes back to the original payment method. No questions asked.

Guarantee FAQ

What counts as "completing" a day?

Clicking the "Mark Day N complete" button in the plan tracker. That timestamps the completion in our system. We don't verify that every problem was answered correctly — we verify that you worked through the session. If you got a problem wrong, that's exactly why the answer key and step-by-step solutions are there.

What if I miss a day and make it up later?

Making it up is fine — complete it and mark it done before submitting your refund claim. The guarantee requires every day to be marked complete before the claim is submitted, not that they were done on exact calendar days.

What if my student's retake is different from what I entered?

The guarantee is tied to your intent when you purchased — a retake for the failed Algebra 1 test. If the exam moved by a few days, that's fine. If the context changed significantly (e.g., the student dropped the course), reach out to us directly through the claim form's notes field.

How long does a refund actually take?

We process claims within 5 business days of receiving them. Stripe refunds then take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on the card statement, depending on the bank. We'll confirm processing by email.

I lost the link to my plan. Can I still claim?

Yes. Your plan is saved at /diagnosis/[your-id]. If you bookmarked the page or used the "Copy link" button when you first created your diagnosis, the URL is there. If you genuinely can't find it, contact us with your purchase details.

Is there a grade threshold? What if they got a 59 instead of 60?

No threshold. "Still fail" means whatever your school considers a failing grade. We ask for the approximate score or grade to understand what happened — we don't use it to gatekeep. If your student didn't pass by their school's standard, the guarantee applies.
